Logan Circle is a neighborhood located in the Northwest quadrant of Washington, D.C. It is roughly bounded by M Street, NW or Massachusetts Avenue NW to the south; New Jersey Avenue, NW to the east; Florida Avenue, NW to the north; and 11th Street, NW to the west. The area is close to the U Street Corridor, which is the commercial hub of the Shaw area, extending westward to 16th Street NW.

S Street NW marks the northern boundary with the adjacent neighborhoods of Shaw and LeDroit Park. The area consists of gridded streets lined with small Victorian rowhouses. It is close Howard University and the shops and theaters along U Street.
There are several new condo buildings in the area, including Northern Exchange as well as the large condo and retail project Louis at 14th and U St NW. In the spring, construction will begin on the renovation of the old Union Mission building. When completed it will have boutique condos and retail space. The condo’s will be about 800 to 1000 square feet, and will be mostly one and two bedroom units. There will also be a small number of studio units available. The developer anticipates that there will be about 30 different floor plans. At this point, prices are expected to be in the $419,000 to $849,000 range.
