About The Blog
The author has lived in the DC area for over 60 years. The growth witnessed has happened slowly and the sleepy southern town of the 50′s has become a sprawling metropolis that is home too many. His knowledge covers the vast area from Washington DC to Washington County, from Capital Hill in DC to Federal Hill in Baltimore and all the unique neighborhoods in between.
It used to be important to keep abreast of the area so that new comers from out of town could be informed. Today, even those contemplating moving from one neighborhood to another need all the information so that they might make an intelligent decision about their next neighborhood.
Having a source for schools, crime, shopping and commuter routes is invaluable today. It is my hope that I might become that source.
To that end (an in high hopes of being asked to assist with some of those that are moving), the author will visit, research and write about his town.
When possible, photos taken by his partner,sidekick and best of friends will be included.
